This non-therapeutic Guselkumab biosimilar, sharing variable regions with the therapeutic version, is ideal for research and binds the p19 subunit of human IL-23. IL-23 (a heterodimer with unique p19, IL-12-shared p40, secreted by activated dendritic cells/macrophages) boosts memory T cells’ IFNγ, induces their proliferation, activates mouse ones to make IL-17 (unlike IL-12), links to autoimmune diseases and anti-infection.
